This week for my Blog Post I started learning how to be literal in my drawings. The picture I used to build a character was a piece of corn.

If you look closely at the corn there are different colors on the seeds like structures. They also have this more circular shape and each one almost looks all different to one another.

For my drawing I made literal corn characters that have more of an aggressive persona. They're found in local farms on the planet of Cearth named Corsect. They defend themselves to the last breath from the farmers so they don;t get processed. One thing about them is that they feed on insects and sunlight. Another character I made in the end is a humanoid corn creature species called Cornious. They are an intelligent species that have built a civilization on Cearth and process the Corsect for valuable nutrients. This helps escalate their power and strength and used as a currency.

Overall, these characters build a symbolic relationship with each other in balance of life and death. This is what made these species become so successful and flourish on Cearth. It was a rocky relation in the beginning but they finally made a balance after a millennia.

Blog Post 05

Hello!!! For This Week, I'm Making A "Very Left Of The Uncanny Valley" Character. I Took Inspiration For This Week From A Game From 7 Days To Die Of A Hostile Called The Zombie Bear.

The Zombie Bear Has Some Significant Features That It Has Such As Dirty Paws, Decomposed Rotten Flesh Sites, Visible Bones, and Orange Eyes That Signifies That It Is Infected. For My Character, I Have Some Ideas I Can Draw Using These Observations.

What I Came Up With Was Five Different Uncanny Characters. We Have BearBat, Dranake, Hydrab, InFFish, and ManJaw. These Characters All Originate On The Apocalypse Planet, Doom. They All Have This Infected Vibe To Them Due To The Disease That Ravages The Planet. As A Fusion Species, They Are Two Combined Species From Planet Earth. The Visitors, Challenge These creatures To See Their Worth As Warriors Due To The Creation Of The Warriors League. The Warriors League, Travels Across The Galaxy To Test Themselves In Combat. I Used The References Listed On Top To Make Characters That Are More Menacing And Scary That Gives It's Importance To The League.

For This Weeks Blog Post, I chose an image from a game I play which I have played for close to a decade.

There's a lot of contrast in this image. the scenic detail, the background and the little shapes in the ground that can make a character. Here are the things I saw in the photo up-close.

Zoomed In, we can see little shapes for the leaves, grass, and dirt. In some of them I see shapes of characters. On first glance is two plant like creatures on out of sticks and other out of plants.

I know these drawing are not spectacular but I used the shape of the grass and ground to form these characters. I made a wooden character that has more a a happy persona. Another one of my drawings is a bird that I used the edges from the blades of grasses in the photo. The final three other drawings are based off of the shapes of leaves that are in the zoomed photo.

For the wooden stick character you would find them originating in most plain biomes. It shares a tandem relationships with trees and both feed of each other to become healthy. Mummified smiles, is a neutral character that looks more like a mummy but has an amused smile. Can be found in deserts and abandoned buildings. Jigsaw Plant, is a creature that has a glassy jigsaw look. They are aggressive and will kill on sight if the player is seen. They live in jungle biomes and use the moisture as energy. Finally, we have the bird and jelly plant. They both originate in the oceans and are passive creatures who feed on fish to survive.

For This Blog Post, I saw A really interesting car that looks plain and, basic. To me, there is plenty of details not seen to the naked eye.

If you look closely, you can see shine, and very basic shapes but compliment the car as well. If you look closely, the grill has a ton of tiny bits of detail. You can see an emblem and some detail flashy lines that pop out the car.

These are some of the sketches I made using the shapes I saw in the car. The propeller on the plane, has a similar look to the car grill just like the eyes on the squid thing. Also, I took references from the grill on the sides of the monstaship and the shape of the mouth.

The Theory: Monstaship is a peaceful monster looking ship that was born from a planet call techno5. When the grow into adults, the traveling across the galaxy exploring planets and finding their soulmates. They are fast powerful and know how to defend themselves when threatened. It is arm with two ion cannon that can shoot large and small blasts at a rapid rate. The more scarring and dents in each monstaship state veterenship and experience. LumniFish, is a almost jellyfish like creature except they are extremely smart. They are advanced creatures that are able to build important structures and technologies that the tech sector buys from for their upgrades. The Monstaships also buy upgrades here.

Blog Post-02 Character Design

For this blog post, I chose a paper towel because of its diamond shaped stitching in the paper. I thought it was a super interesting concept, has many implications, and ideas to make a characters.

Looking at a close up of the paper towels, you can see dots, diamond stitching, and almost an eye inside the diamond. So I thought I could make a mechanical character, and suits inspired by iron man's arc reactor. Also I could make a gem necklace and a gem band as a sign of fame when worn by the character.

Here are my sketches I made, My characters Mechabee, and MechDog are mechanical entities that used metal armor with an arc reactor in the middle to power the mech. Originating from PlanetTechno14, these mechanized animals are super advanced and powerful with many weapons at their disposal. The headband, and necklace is a sign of nobility for higher-up mechanical animals. Each item gives more power to the mech making them a more dangerous one to fight.

The Theory: As I stated, the headband, and the necklace are the symbol of nobility and fame but as a trope you can find out that if the mechs do not have those accessories they are lower level threats. If we are talking in a Gameplay sense, the mechs when destroyed, drop parts to create upgrades, unlock rooms, and to create ways to defeat the the higher nobility mechs. ou will need to get certain upgrades to progress though!

Welcome to my first BLOG POST! This week, I took a look at my Carpet floor in Village One. It looks like it has a circular pattern that ends in a curve that almost looks like a target.

One thing I noticed when I took a picture of this particular piece of carpet was the defined eye on the top left. Has kind of an ancient feel and the eye of a totem. It shows a ton of expression more like an angry or moderate face.

In My Drawings, I tried to make a representation of the eye into some sort of creature represented in a totem. I also thought I could create life such as a snake, and a plant. It could represent beauty and strife. With the thought of a Target Or Circle in mind, I made a hat that did not come out too well but maybe could give a pattern that represents wealth. The shield would also be referenced by the circles in the carpet with the sign of prestige I believe.

Origins Of The Character: Two creatures used to walk the Earth centuries ago, a monster named the Grouch. The Grouch “Grumpy” was a bipedal creature that had a blocky shape, very tough gray fur, upset facial features, and two large eyes. It was quite intelligent and was discovered by the Aztecs and was killed and sold to manufacture shields as well as it was made into clothes. The Grouch to the Aztecs was called “La Piedra Gruñona” meaning “The Grumpy Stone” and went extinct in the 1700s.

The second creature that used to walk the Earth centuries ago,  The Russians called the creature Svireppy “Ferocious”  which was a type of Snake that was super aggressive, smart, fast, and had a ridiculous deadly poison that could kill a human in minutes. It had these defining scales that were noticeable on its plain body which gave any Russian fear when seeing it. Originating in Russia, it eventually went extinct in the 1800’s. If you killed the Svireppy, the skin meant a sign of power.
