This week for my Blog Post I started learning how to be literal in my drawings. The picture I used to build a character was a piece of corn.
If you look closely at the corn there are different colors on the seeds like structures. They also have this more circular shape and each one almost looks all different to one another.
For my drawing I made literal corn characters that have more of an aggressive persona. They're found in local farms on the planet of Cearth named Corsect. They defend themselves to the last breath from the farmers so they don;t get processed. One thing about them is that they feed on insects and sunlight. Another character I made in the end is a humanoid corn creature species called Cornious. They are an intelligent species that have built a civilization on Cearth and process the Corsect for valuable nutrients. This helps escalate their power and strength and used as a currency.
Overall, these characters build a symbolic relationship with each other in balance of life and death. This is what made these species become so successful and flourish on Cearth. It was a rocky relation in the beginning but they finally made a balance after a millennia.
